Okay-I
have been having all kinds of trouble deciding my rating system. After a
lot of consideration I have decided to split the ratings into Amateur and
Professional haunts. Now amateur does NOT mean menial or trinkety by any
means. Amateur means that the people hosting the haunt are usually
volunteer and do not necessarily spend a good portion of their year and money
preparing for their haunt. So here they are in order of dates
My rating system
-
Frights: Did they do a good
job of scaring the clients?
-
Make-up/Masks:
professionalism
-
Set Design: did they look thrown together or well thought out?
-
Atmosphere: this includes both the inside and outside of the
attractions. Do the entrance and surrounding areas enhance the
experience?
-
Overall: Was I scared? Laughing?
Disappointed? Ready to go back again?
0 skulls=Disgrace to the season
=Needs 80% improvement and makeover

=Needs work in many areas. Sporadic pleasantries-inconsistent

=Good but need to make all elements work

=Great
place! Will definitely consider returning!

=Happiness is this place. Can I just stay here? I don't want to leave!
Incredible! Unique! Fantastic! Wonderful! Stupendous!
Constructive comments for haunters that I noticed
especially this year
- Actors were very into their work as a whole
- Is there any way in the world that we can avoid having
bad radio stations destroy the entrances to the haunts with crappy
music? Its so much more eerie when the places play creepy music-sets
the mood much better-or none at all
